Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to manage the civil works for Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Water Treatment Plants (WTP), and Solar Power Plant projects. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, execution, and project management to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery in line with engineering standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
ETP, STP, and WTP Projects:
Design and develop layouts, RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) structures, foundations, and water-retaining structures.
Supervise the construction of tanks, clarifiers, aeration basins, filter houses, pump stations, and other critical structures.
Conduct soil investigations, geotechnical evaluations, and topographic surveys.
Coordinate with process engineers for integrating civil designs with mechanical and piping systems.
Ensure proper drainage systems, water pipelines, and structural safety measures.
Solar Power Plant Projects:
Plan and execute civil works for foundations of solar module mounting structures, inverters, transformers, and control rooms.
Design and supervise the construction of cable trenches, pathways, and drainage systems.
Ensure compliance with site-specific geotechnical and environmental standards.
Prepare and manage civil layouts for large-scale solar PV plants.
General Responsibilities:
Prepare project documentation, including BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and material requirements.
Oversee contractor activities to ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for site and design evaluations.
Monitor project progress, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with applicable national and international codes (e.g., IS codes, ACI, Eurocodes).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers.
Implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices during construction activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s Degree preferred but not mandatory).
Experience:
3–7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on ETP, STP, WTP, and solar power plant projects.
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, or similar design software.
Strong knowledge of RCC design, structural engineering, and water-retaining structures.
Familiarity with construction practices for treatment plants and renewable energy infrastructure.
Experience in site surveys, soil testing, and geotechnical analysis.
Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
