Roles and Responsibilities: Telecaller - Solar Department

Position Overview:
The Telecaller will serve as the first point of engagement with leads generated through the company website and social media platforms. They will qualify leads, assign them to appropriate field executives based on location, and ensure timely follow-ups for effective lead conversion.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Lead Engagement and Qualification:
    • Make initial contact with leads generated via the website and social media platforms.
    • Engage potential customers in a professional and friendly manner to identify their interest in solar solutions.
    • Gather essential information about customer needs and preferences to qualify leads effectively.
  2. Lead Assignment:
    • Assign qualified leads to the designated field executive in the respective geographic area.
    • Maintain accurate records of lead assignments and share relevant details with the field executives.
  3. Follow-Up and Coordination:
    • Regularly follow up with field executives to track the status of assigned leads.
    • Ensure timely updates on lead progression and feedback from the field team.
    • Communicate any issues, challenges, or delays to the concerned department for resolution.
  4. Database Management:
    • Maintain and update the lead management database with details of interactions, lead status, and follow-ups.
    • Ensure accurate and organized documentation of all communications.
  5. Customer Relationship Building:
    • Establish a positive rapport with potential customers to enhance their experience with the company.
    • Address basic customer queries and concerns promptly before assigning them to field executives.
  6. Performance Metrics:
    • Ensure a high response rate to leads generated within the assigned timeframe.
    • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets for lead follow-ups and assignments.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and field teams to optimize the lead conversion process.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic knowledge of solar products and services (training will be provided).
  • Proficiency in CRM or lead management software.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
