Job Description:
  1. Sales Strategy and Target Achievement:

    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies for EPC solar projects to meet or exceed company sales targets.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar EPC market, including commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects.
    • Build a strong pipeline of prospects and convert opportunities into closed deals.
    • Track and forecast sales performance, adjusting strategies to maximize revenue.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, including developers, contractors, government bodies, and corporate customers.
    • Understand customer needs and tailor solar EPC solutions to meet their requirements, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Manage negotiations, contracts, and ensure smooth project execution from sales through to completion.
  3. Project Coordination and Collaboration:

    • Collaborate closely with the project management, engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of solar projects.
    • Provide support to clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring their expectations are met in terms of timelines, costs, and quality.
    • Liaise with internal teams to ensure that project proposals, technical designs, and pricing are aligned with customer needs and project specifications.
  4. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

    • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and developments in the solar energy sector.
    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, analyze competitor activities, and gain insights to improve sales strategies.
    • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to stay connected with potential clients and partners.
  5. Proposal Development and Technical Support:

    • Prepare and present detailed proposals and presentations for solar EPC projects, including cost estimations, project timelines, and technical specifications.
    • Work closely with technical teams to understand project feasibility and design solutions that meet customer needs.
    • Ensure that all proposals are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's capabilities.
  6. Sales Reporting and Administration:

    • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and project updates in the CRM system.
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, pipeline status, and key opportunities.
    • Ensure timely and accurate documentation for all contracts, agreements, and project-related paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, etc.), Business, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in solar EPC sales, with a proven track record of securing large-scale solar projects.
  • In-depth understanding of solar technologies, EPC processes, project management, and market dynamics.
  • Strong knowledge of the renewable energy industry, especially solar PV systems and their applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
